Aspassia Tagliente launched her eponymous brand in 2019, specialiazed in luxury leather goods. Half Italian, half Greek, but born in Brussels, Aspassia Tagliente has always had a passion for fashion and accessories. She quickly dreamed of creating her own brand, but preferred to take the time to learn about all the facets of an entrepreneur’s life in some of the big houses, including Chanel. While she believes deeply in the importance of personal experience, she knows that nothing can replace know-how and tradition. It was in Florence that she learned everything there is to know about bag making, leather and craftsmanship. In Italy, she met the best suppliers and chose exceptional materials.
Thanks to her thoughtful design and production, Aspassia Tagliente makes luxury rhyme with eco-responsibility. The company believes in slow and ethical fashion implemented through the production of small quantities and/or preorders, while promoting faire wages and good working conditions, following regulations. Each bag becomes an exclusive item, intended for a specific customer. “As a young company we want to implement at this early stage, as many efforts as possible, such as a slow and ethical fashion production model and ethical labour practices.”
