Lambros Papanikolatos studied Marketing Communication and Advertising in Athens and The Netherlands, and received an MA in Photography, with distinction, from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. He has gained extensive experience in cultural projects consultation, production, and coordination, through his collaborations with international photography festivals and cultural institutions. He is a fellow of the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation. Since 1997 he has developed artistic and educational photography activities, both in Greece and abroad. He represented Greece at the European Biennale of Young Artists in Rome in 1999 and got a talent award at the “Les Rencontresd’Arles” International Photography Festival in France in 200. He has also been involved in numerous curatorial projects and book publications. His works are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, USA. For two years (2016-2018), he taught in the adult education program in photography at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), while from 2018, he is teaching at the MA in Photography and Visual Language program in Middlesex University, UK in collaboration with AKTO College in Athens. Lambros Papanikolatos received a Fulbright scholarship in 2003-04 to attend photography seminars at New York’s International Center of Photography. While in the United States, he also collaborated in the organization of the International FotoFest Photography Biennale in Houston Texas.
