A French fashion designer, artistic director and photographer, Stéfanie Renoma was the daughter of the no less famous Maurice Renoma, a trendsetter of Parisian fashion in the 1960s. A famous fashion designer, he founded the eponymous brand that transformed clothing into a seductive tool, with many creative geniuses such as Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Serge Gainsbourg, and Brigitte Bardot becoming loyal ambassadors of the brand. Growing up outside of traditional educational pathways, Stéfanie Renoma mingled with the artistic avant-gardes of the day from a very young age. Graduating from the École Supérieure des Arts Modernes and the École Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode in Paris, she developed an offbeat and incisive style before launching her own brand, NI-Search and concept store, the Komplexstore. Strongly influenced by the mocking eroticism of the late seventies, she gives free rein to a combination of rock ’n roll and disarticulated chic in her photographs.
