Venetia Sacret Young is an artist and designer based in Athens, Greece. Working across the fields of interior design, architecture, restoration, film photography and ceramics, she creates objects and spaces that cannot be confined to a specific time, and whose primary objective as an artist is to celebrate beauty in all forms.

Born in 1982, Venetia grew up in New York City before moving to Athens. She now lives and works between Greece and Italy. She studied at Columbia University, Pratt, Parsons School of Design, and the International Center of Photography in New York City. She works as an interior architect and creator of decorative installations, from small residential projects to enormous buildings. She is currently also designing and producing a collection of ceramic objects- a high end homeware group of lamps, sconces, chandeliers and vases.

In addition to her design and decorative arts work, she shoots medium format black and white film with her grandfather’s Rolleiflex and creates large scale silver gelatin prints in the darkroom using traditional techniques only- no digital manipulation. Her work is in private collections in the United States, Greece, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
