The “sculpted” jewelry of Charlotte Chesnais in Athens, at i-D CONCEPTSTORES!
i-D CONCEPTSTORES presented exclusively to the Athenian public, the French jewelry designer Charlotte Chesnais with a unique POP UP in the Kolonaki store!
A favorite jeweler of fashion icons such as: Naomi Cambell, Nicole Kidman, Chiara Mastroianni, Catherine Deneuve, Laettia Casta, Lea Seydoux, Liya Kebede, Lou Doillon, and Adele Exarchopoulos, started her career at Balenciaga with Nicolas Ghesquière and created the jewelry line of the famous house.
Along the way she collaborated with renowned brands such as Kenzo, Mayiet, Maison Kitsuné and Paco Rabanne, on whose behalf she design leather goods and jewelry. Recently Ben Gorham collaborated with her on the Byredo jewelry line.
Five years ago, she launched her own Charlotte Chesnais brand and won the prestigious ANDAM fashion accessories award.
Her collections, small art objects, are reminiscent of sculptures. Inventive fluid lines, a combination of known and abstract graphics shapes that perfectly embrace the body. Creations that stand out at first glance.
Her pieces are handmade in France from the best studios and are available in silver, vermilion and 18 carat gold.
Although she is a great fan of Greece, at the moment due to the conditions, and with respect to the health protocol, i-D CONCEPTSTORES postponed a big event to start this collaboration. Nevertheless, friends of the well-known store attended the opening of POP UP and admired up close jewelry enjoying a cool glass of french Taittinger champagne.
