It was like being at the backstage dressing room of a Rock Concert for the people who attended the opening of the new POP UP by Minas at i-D Concept Stores on Saturday 9 February 2019. Rock n Roll sounds, electric guitars with rare dedications, collectors vinyl records and of course the unique Minas jewelry are the protagonists of the new #iDAthens window in Kolonaki, which the designer himself curated specially for this space and will last until 9 March.
The legendary designer presented his new designs together with his signature collections. The Melting Heart & Hawk pendants, the S and Z cuffs and the Black Mamba series.
A series of strong black and white photos by the equally famous Greek photographer Costas Coutayar are decorating the space. They are portraits of non-conformist and free spiritedpeople wearing Minas’s creations.
Friends, loyal customers, journalists and of course the designer’s family were present enjoying a fun evening with laughter and exchanges about design, enjoying the excellent rose wine Whispering Angel!
