Bio

I was born and raised in Pireaus of Attica. Since my childhood my inclination to art always drove me to cultivate my creative skills through crafting. Because of this strong affinity for the arts in general, I was always related to the Arts professions. Together with my accessories brand, my work included costume and stage design in childrens’ theather. This way my fame expanded beyond the borders of my country, Greece. Since 2016 I have been an active jewellery designer with my homonym brand Thania Iordanidou. I have also participated in many exhibitions such as “Jewel Made In Greece” and in art galleries in Greece and abroad. I design exclusively for some galleries and the most popular brands.

What defines your style?

I mostly draw my inspiration from the nature and the ancient Greece. My creations are made for women that love being different, stylish and consider that jewellery is the necessary finishing touch of their image. I view jewellery as the symbol of good taste and harmony. Thania Iordanidou jewellery is exhibited and sold in the well-known boutiques of Athens and abroad.

What are your most commonly used materials?

The materials that I mostly use are clay, brass, silver and leather.
