Erieta Attali (born in Tel Aviv 1966) resides between New York and Paris, photographing the work of contemporary architects from around the world. Attali began her photographic career in 1993 as a landscape and archaeology photographer. During the past twenty years, Attali has been preoccupied primarily with architectural and landscape photography, with a body of work spanning from Europe to the Americas and from Asia to Australia, sponsored by national and academic institutions globally. Her work has been shown in several exhibitions and is the subject of many monographs. She received a Master’s in photography from Goldsmiths, University of London. Attali continued her studies as visiting scholar at Columbia University, NYC with support of the Fulbright Foundation, and at Waseda University, Tokyo, with the support of the Japan Foundation. She holds a PhD from RMIT University in Melbourne. Attali taught architectural photography at GSAPP, Columbia University (2003 – 2018). Attali is currently a research fellow at the Académie d’Αrchitecture in Paris and a resident at the Cite Internationale des Arts. She is the author of numerous books.
