The very chic and talented Antonia Karra presented her SS18 “Mykonos Collection” in a window display full of the Aegean blue last Thursday June 21st, 2018 at i-D Concept Stores in Golden Hall.
Following the family tradition in the field of jewelry, applying a unique technique that was passed on to her by her grandmother, the Greek designer Antonia Karra began knitting the most elaborate pieces of jewelry, merging Greece with different cultures, taking the world on new adventures through her creations. Her line of stylish jewelry is always updated with new techniques and materials, like silver and semi-precious stones, which soon took the world by storm, embraced by international designers and fashion icons. Antonia Karra designs have adorned Diane Von Furstenberg, Iris Apfel, Georgina Chapman, Elisa Sednaoui, Lynne Renee, and Adriana Lima, catapulting her successful presence abroad.
Her braided inspirations filled the i-D Concept Store in Golden Hall with dazzling pieces of jewellery, colour, cosmopolitan vibe and music in another #MeetTheDesigners event!
A fresh approach to a lovely summery and bohemian look. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets influenced by Mykonos’s cycladic colours and sun brought Mykonos’ vibrant feel to Athens!
Turquoise, corals, pearls set against the gold plated rich metal gave the perfect summer palette!
Key pieces with a bohemian chic aesthetic that uplifts any casual, cocktail or evening look or are the perfect choice for a dazzling night out.
